Do you ship worldwide?

We now ship ALL our products worldwide. If we are unable to ship to your country for some reason, please email us at "support@basedbodyworks.com"

  

What is your return policy? 

We currently accept returns within 30 days, if your product is unused and unopened. If you are not happy with your order, simply email "support@basedbodyworks.com" and request a return shipping label. (We currently do not provide return postage for international orders). Once your order is received, please allow 5-10 business days for processing, then once your return is accepted, please allow an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to reflect in your bank account.

 

Can I cancel my order after I placed it?

Unfortunately, we do not accept cancellations after your order is placed. However, we do accept returns within 30 days of your order if you're not satisfied. 

 

How do I know how much I have to pay for customs?

Each country has its own customs regulations and policies that determine the fees and duties imposed on imported goods. All customers outside of the United States are responsible for the customs fees/duties that may be charged by their country. We advise looking up your country’s policies before purchasing so you are aware of any potential fees. 

 

What is Based shipping protection?

Based Shipping Protection is an optional order protection service that functions as insurance coverage for your package in case it gets lost, stolen, or damaged during transit. If you choose to deselect it at checkout, Based Bodyworks is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

 

What do the products smell like?

Both the Shampoo & Conditioner are scented with Peppermint oil.

 

What hair type is the shampoo best suited for?

Our current products are best suited for straight & wavy hair, but have also worked well for those with curly hair. They are not recommended for fine or coily hair yet, but we will be releasing specific products for those hair types soon!

 

What future products are you making?

We are aiming to release our Conditioner, and restock our Shampoo, early January, along with AM/PM Beef Tallow Moisturizer following soon after. We are also working on a body-wash, face wash & leave-in conditioner which should release early 2024. 

 

Is Based in retail stores?

No, putting our products in stores is the last step of scaling our business. This won't happen for at least a year.
